its more about bad tattoos in general i think. young women that spend their time reading books on average probably dont know the best tattoo artists in their city

Why on earth do people seem to think that people get tattoos just to be 'different'? Such a weird insecure point I see on this site all the time which has utterly no bearing on reality

Becuase that's why they did it, until basically everyone under fifty has them. I was there when it started. They used to be an act of rebellion. Now it's just peer pressure to conform. It's like, no matter what team's jersey I'm wearing, I'm still wearing a throwback jersey or whatever because they're fashionable.
