I will concede to Thanos' assessment of human beings. We are selfish, destructive, and the architects of our own demise. We take more than we need, often at the expense of others. We dump our trash into the deep blue with little regard for the creatures that live there. We horde food and wealth while hunger and famine ravage the vulnerable majority. And often, we don't realize the error of our ways until some immense tragedy occurs. Mainly I'm just focused on the truthfulness aspect of their claims.

I mean...sure some of the more complex villains make a few good points in a vacuum. Their method of fixing these issues is typically what makes them villains though. It's kind of like how people sort of agree with the Unabomber in some of the points he makes in his manifesto, but was randomly killing a bunch of professors really a competent away of achieving an end goal based on these views? Of course not. The true lesson you should take away from movie villains is that nothing is as black and white as they say it is, and that complex problems need complex solutions that don't involve ending human lives.

Yeah, I see where you coming from, that's actually something I have recently discovered, people speak against what they know is wrong even if they practice it, it's a way of enforcing the behavior, through making you feel like they care. The point is still true though.
