-399 Accusing someone of racism is racist, amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Probably not in most circumstances, but I like being agreeable.

Yes, yes it is. If you accuse someone of racism, that means you have the mindset to believe that his/her actions are racist. See accusing someone is calling them out on what you think is true. For example, if I called a friend racist for switching sidewalks when a black man HAPPENED to on his side, I'd be racist. Now, if it's OBVIOUS that they are racist, (states that he hates a certain race in total seriousness and follows through, etc.) then you are not accusing them of racism, you are simply stating the fact.

The last sentence contradicts your yes. It makes it a no, because the amirite post implied an 'always'. So you saying "yes, except..." makes it a no.

Sorry, but you're wrong. I didn't put "except" in my sentence, and I wasn't implying it nor did I mean it. My last sentence was not an exception but a different situation. If someone is OBVIOUSLY and OUTWARDLY racist, then it's different. You're not accusing anyone of anything, just reinforcing a fact. So my last sentence does not contradict the rest of the comment.

Wow people... I made this post out of a personal expericance. A black substitute teacher took my phone after it fell out of my pocket. I wasn't using it. I asked for it back and tried to explain that it fell out of my pocket. A black girl had her phone out and i looked at her. The teacher automatically said i was racist because i was thinking that it was wrong for her to take my phone but not the black girls. Which i was thinking, but i never said it. She was racist for assuming i was thinking that. And my post did not imply always. If i meant always, i would've said always.

And you're calling her racist makes you a racist according to your logic.
