+999The Swiss have an interesting army. Five hundred years without a war. Pretty impressive. Also pretty lucky for them. Ever see that little Swiss Army knife they have to fight with? Not much of a weapon there. Corkscrews. Bottle openers. "Come on, buddy, let's go. You get past me, the guy in back of me, he's got a spoon. Back off. I've got the toe clippers right here.", amirite?

+870There would actually be a lot more negatives than positives in a nude society; once you get past the fact that you can see hot chicks nude, you realize there are much more ugly than attractive people in most places. Once you account old people, awkward boners becoming more than just awkward, and the frightening reality of how convenient it would be for pedophiles and rapists, the prospect of a completely naked civilization doesn't seem so awesome after all, amirite?
+693Imagine if we had a library filled with every book ever created. None of them have titles on the cover and the pages are blank, but when you open one, you are instantly transported to the world within the book. You get to live the story as any character for as long as you like. And when you come out of the story, almost no time has past in the real world. This would be the greatest library ever, amirite?

+254A lot of people ask, "If a time machine was ever invented, wouldn't somebody have come back to tell us about it?" Even if a time machine is invented, it wouldn't be possible to travel backwards past the time the machine was built...and since it hasn't been built yet, no one can travel back to tell us anything about it, amirite?
We all want the freedom to express ourselves, but many take exception when others express themselves in disagreement. Example, I have to walk past your church everyday and see the huge cross on the wall, it offends me greatly and I want it taken down. The church freely chose to put the cross there so that members of the community could easily identify it as a Christian place of worship and community relief. The person demanding that it be taken down is choosing freely to object to the church's freedom. Is this one's freedom of faith repressing the freedom of faith of another?
+5So im driving home from town today, and i come behind a big ole pickemup truck. On his rear window he has a confederate flag painted on it and trump bumper sticker. Ive seen others around in the past. I know its not southern pride. I live in the great white north, that shouldnt matter i guess. But you have to know.......
+517In cultures where text is read from right to left, when someone from that culture pictures time on a linear scale, the past is on the right with the future on the left. In languages with masculine and feminine pronouns, a natural speaker of that language is more likely to point out the aspects of that object that are generally associated with the pronoun's gender. The effect that language has on how we perceive the world is astounding. amirite?
