440When you cross the road just before the little man turns green, you feel like quite the young radical, and half-expect that you'll look over and see some cool guy in a leather jacket nodding at you like "hey, we both don't conform to social pressures when it comes to safety, how rebellious we are", amirite?
1,116I don't understand why people are against gay marriage. Their main argument is that it's tearing away at our social fabric. You really think gays would do anything to harm fabric? amirite?
529Having an insect do a fly-by of your ear is the ultimate social kryptonite. To everyone else nothing unusual happened, except their weird friend is now slapping his head and screaming. amirite?

205We as a race have almost completely eliminated Social Darwinism. Laws requiring people to wear seat belts, laws against drugs and laws requiring motorcyclists to wear helmets were all put in place to keep people safe. However these laws should be abolished because anyone dumb enough to do heroine after all the lessons preaching against it deserves the death they receive. amirite?
240If you think about it, the phrase "sanctity of marriage" is a bit odd. Especially considering that all throughout history marriages consisted of women being given away with no say in the matter like pieces of property, sometimes still as children. Oh, and let's not forget about arranged marriages for political and social gain. In fact two people marrying for love is a relatively new concept. It doesn't really sound like marriage was ever that fucking sacred of an institution to begin with, amirite?
337Are you just another average face in the crowd, somebody a person may find attractive and could never work up the courage to talk to, or someone who seems like a possible threat that another person may try to avoid? Everybody views people in a different light based off of past social experiences and their own personality. Sometimes you wonder how others view you, amirite?
