+469Imagine if every time anyone made some kind of decision, like what route to take to school, the universe split into different dimensions. One with one route that s/he took, then a bunch of others based on other possible routes. There was a split for each and every little decision made by each person in the world, and there are infinite dimensions in existence now. +12Kids in America don't realize how lucky they are to be able to go to school. They complain about having to go to school. They are basically complaining about creating their own future! If they knew what kids in other countries have to go through just to get to school, they would not complain anymore. I guarantee, if you get a student from America, and you put them in a different school related environment, where kids have to travel hours and hours just to get to a run down old school, and some kids don't even have the privilege to go to school, they would be begging to come back to America and go to school. Kids in America, today, have no idea how easy they have it. They are blind to the outside world!.

+517In cultures where text is read from right to left, when someone from that culture pictures time on a linear scale, the past is on the right with the future on the left. In languages with masculine and feminine pronouns, a natural speaker of that language is more likely to point out the aspects of that object that are generally associated with the pronoun's gender. The effect that language has on how we perceive the world is astounding. amirite?
+250Religion was created tens of thousands of years ago to explain the phenomena of the natural world around us: seasons, weather, magnificant landscapes, etc.. Science is what does that now, but religion still prevails. Its surprising and amazing that the concept of practicing a religion hasn't become outdated over time like everything else from the beginning of civilization has, amirite?
