When one person commits an atrocity, it is considered a crime and is met with punishment. When millions of people commit atrocities, it is considered a culture and is met with tolerance,

Life isn't actually short in terms of amount of time alive. It's just that we're expected to figure out in the first 20% how to spend the rest 80%. The only time we actually get to enjoy life purely for the enjoyment of life is during those 5-6 years before starting school. We're rushed through everything so much that the amount of time we spend actually "living" life is incredibly short,

A sparrow was just about to freeze to death when a cow came over and took a crap on it. The warmth of the cow's shit warmed up the little bird and saved its life. The sparrow started singing from happiness but then a cat heard it, found the bird and ate it. The conclusion is that not everyone who throw shit at you wants to harm you and not everyone who digs you out of it wants to help you. amir...

We get so mad at children for asking "why?" all the time, but shouldn't we be angry at ourselves instead? Have we become so desensitized to the world? Where are our questions? Why do we take everything for granted? Are we so accustomed to everything wonderful that we have lost our curiosity? We need to revive whatever died when we left childhood,

Some of the reasons girls most likely always tend to fall for the "bad guys" are probably (1) the exhilaration and adrenaline rush of being involved in/with things they shouldn't be (2) they feel like they can change the guy to be a better person (3) they feel special to be one of the few people loved/cared for by a guy who is usually aggressive towards other people,

Even though its very highly unlikely, its a bit scary to think that everything we've learned about our history could be wrong. Not like 100 years ago history, but way farther back, like when the first civilizations started popping up in Africa. I mean, think about it. The Egyptians might have developed technology that was either equal to or superior to ours, but had something happen to them that made them lose it forever, and we'd be none the wiser,
