I've never had an employer "cover the difference.." At any of the 3 restaurants or 2 bars Si've worked at.
Here in Texas, it is $2.50/hr + tips for wait staff.

Also, sometimes in Internet debate I will stick a ";)" in to let the reader know when I am being light-hearted since they can't read my tone.

I think both sides DO want betterment but they have opposing views on what better is.

Did it ever really HAVE a plot? I'm pretty sure we never found out what the giant-man eating-tree-mover-thing from the very first episodes was.
In 4-6 the CGI was already so much more advanced, they probably downplayed the ships to keep from having to remake 1-3.
I don't know WHAT you are talking about, but I will agree B'COZ: I usually tend to disagree with the critics.
