It is pretty scary that helium, which is a crucial element for MRI scanners and floating balloons, is believed to be nonexistent in about 30 years, amirite?
It doesn't feel like the average SAT score is 1500. Everyone you know usually has a score of 1800+. amirite?

Same with ACT....who actually gets a 20?

Nonexistent? Helium is one of the most abundant chemicals in outer space...nonexistent on earth, perhaps?

It's kind of disheartening to realize that the most educated and wise people get the same amount of say as high school dropouts as to who is going to run the country, amirite?
@1715392

....how many times shall I explain that "high school dropouts" was merely a specific example of people who are generally less intelligent? At least once more, I suppose.

You hate it when you get a heart attack, only to see it's on sale the next day, amirite?
When you talk to some people, it's like you have two left feet and they're both in your mouth, amirite?

I POSTED THIS ANONYMOUSLY DANGIT

It's going to be fun when we live longer than some movies we watched with post-apocalyptic settings, like The Book of Eli or The Terminator, amirite?

Yeah, or 1984.

The best fairy tale is Shrek because that movie shows you that your prince charming could be the last person you'd expect it to be, amirite?

If the world goes to hell because of some freakish disease caused by a cure for cancer, I'll probably watch Shrek a bunch of times and memorize all the lines

If someone is so pro-life or pro-child then they should adopt one that is already here, that's very alone and unwanted, amirite?
@Anony really, what this whole argument comes down to is your definition of "human." Is my finger a human? It has the same...

I completely agree that it comes down to the definition of what is human. But your finger doesn't have the DNA to become a new adult. Embryo's have unique DNA; your finger has the same DNA as any other part of your body

@pb55020 because making abortion illegal will stop abortions. In case no one's learned from history, you can't make...

If the baby is human, then abortion is murder. Should we be worried about protecting murderer's?

Sometimes you wonder what the story is behind certain usernames, amirite?

I most certainly cannot grow a beard. :(

The original title for Back to the Future was "Cockblocking My Dad". amirite?
What if people really do see the things that they claim are ghosts, except they aren't really spirits or poltergeists? What if what they're really seeing is a chunk of time that got temporarily lost? So a girl could've been brushing her teeth in your bathroom 50 years ago but that time got mixed up and you're seeing it happen right now. It's not really happening, but you see it. That would be pretty creepy but insanely awesome, amirite?

This reminds me of an episode of Torchwood...

All drugs should be legaI. Its not the governments place to tell its citizens what or what not they can ingest. Prohibition of of alcohol was a ridiculous exercise in futility. Just because cocaine, heroin, marijuana, or methamphetamine do not enjoy the same kind of support as alcohol or tobacco does not negate the rights of their users to consume them, amirite?

The issue is not necessarily about the damage to the user from doing the drugs...it is more about the possible damage the user will do to others or him/herself while not in the "correct" state of mind.

Now, I think it's debatable whether each specific drug will cause these damages, but the possible damage for each one should be taken into consideration before legalization.
