I was thinking more on individual basis. You know how some people say life isn't fair whenever something bad happens to them? Or the common belief that so many people out there have it better/worse than us? What if the "scale" wasn't in comparing ourselves to others nor by separate life events, what if it's in every person's separate timeline, no matter how short or long, they have just as much grief as happiness, making us all equal.
Of course I have no mean of measuring that since you can't really measure emotions but yeah, only a thought.
The fact that I'm getting introduced to a new culture and its people in a different way to that the media promotes. I enjoy the debates a great deal, they have triggered a lot of thinking trains inside my mind, plus there's always something to provoke a good laugh when having a bad day.
