Loud music is not a part of "culture". We didn't have amps back in the day. It's simply rude and inconsiderate. amirite?
@Mytokhondria I'm beyond confused what this has to do with culture in general, let alone what specific culture in particular.

There are certain people who claim free passes to societal norms based on their race and the race of the people confronting them. It's not a race thing, but the certain people try to make it one.

An example from my life: I dated a Mexican woman when I was younger, parties routinely went to 3-4AM, sometimes even 5. Her family generally kept it inside the home, but I've heard of some outdoor parties lasting just as long. The party times seem to be a cultural facet, but would you care if your neighbors were like that?

I like pulling my armpit hair, amirite?

It feels nice to pull them. It's like getting a deep itch that you can only satisfy by pulling on them.

Fish pics get too much hate, amirite?

You like fish pics? Yeah? Do you like fish pics in your mouth?

8am to 8pm sounds a lot longer than 8pm to 8am, amirite?

Obviously because 8am to 8pm is 12 hours but 8pm to 8am is only 4 hours. /s

You can't outwalk the fork is terrible advice for weight loss beginners, amirite?

I don't think the phrase "you can't outwalk the fork" is anti-exercise. it's just saying that going for a walk isn't going to even close to burn off a bag of Doritos and a box of Oreos. if you are overweight, yes, exercise (and if you're not overweight). however, don't treat exercise as a thing that offsets bad eating decisions. unless you're swimming the English channel, you arent burning many calories. treat exercise as a thing that's good for you.

I'm through with being impressed by talented children, amirite?

So because they have more time and learning capabilities their achievements mean nothing? Not a lot of 5 year olds can play the piano

Going to sleep late and waking up late is the same as going to sleep early and getting up early. amirite?
@Achilles982 Fishing, skating, skiing/tubing/sledding, outdoor hockey are good all winter. Outside of January and February...

K now tell me how many of those you do in the sun, with the sun on your skin? Which is what I was saying. 0 of them. Also how many of those are you doing with a 9 month old?

And I dunno where you live in Minnesota, but I had a 9 foot drift on the side of my house this winter and about 8 different blizzards. November-March are Basically a no go for anything non winter like walking running and biking.

In theory it sounds nice. But you are not working 8-5 and then going running and biking in the winter when it gets dark at 5-530. It's a depressing time of year. It's cold, and gets dark early, and the snow sucks to drive in and sucks to remove

Going to sleep late and waking up late is the same as going to sleep early and getting up early. amirite?
@Mrtechnohawk Genetics supports night owls. It is factually a thing. You are judging these people based on a world set up by...

The only thing I can find is that it is 1 in 75 people of European descent, but I don't think 1 in 75 claim this as it seems far more people do.

Also, that 1 in 75 is a form of insomnia, not some sort of genetic benefit

Lana Del Rey sounds like a 1920s baseball player, ya see, amirite?

Monograms are tacky and no adult should ever use them on anything, amirite?

If I buy something monogramable, I put my dogs name on it

People who obsess over getting "the authentic experience" when traveling are more annoying than people who shamelessly embrace being tourists. amirite?

I'd agree with that. While I definitely try to eat authentic local food when I travel but I'm under no illusion I'm anything but a tourist.

After being a bartender for years, bachelor parties disgust me. amirite?

I've never understood this either. If I'm marrying someone, why would I want to go out and do anything that would hurt her if she was to see or hear about it? For my bachelor party, it was German food, followed by a tiki bar, followed by a dive bar, followed by a nicer bar across the street. Just guys talking , drinking, and laughing. And it was really fun.

People who obsess over getting "the authentic experience" when traveling are more annoying than people who shamelessly embrace being tourists. amirite?
@Assangeofficial Tourists are tourists are tourists. Authentic or kitchy they are all the same.

I disagree, annoying entitled tourists who demand everything catered to their cultural norms are much worse than one who tries to blend in and follow local customs

People who don't accept gifts are just as annoying as people who expect gifts. amirite?

But people who expect gifts just because they gave a gift are the worst
