In cultures where text is read from right to left, when someone from that culture pictures time on a linear scale, the past is on the right with the future on the left. In languages with masculine and feminine pronouns, a natural speaker of that language is more likely to point out the aspects of that object that are generally associated with the pronoun's gender. The effect that language has on how we perceive the world is astounding. amirite?

In Spanish, the word for "plug" is male (el enchufe) and the word for "socket" is not only female, but it's also a synonym for "female" (la hembra).

Don't you hate it when people ask you "Are you Ok?" when there's absolutely nothing wrong with you, all you were doing was looking down or staring out into space and now you're suddenly "Having a sad moment", You keep telling them "I'm fine, I'm fine", yet they insist you're not fine, which actually makes you infuriated. Amirite?

I get this a lot:

Stranger: "Are you okay? You look really sad/tired."
Me: "...That's just my face."

One of the absolute biggest detriments to society's understanding of and compassion for mental illness is psychologically healthy people trivializing disorders by claiming to have them; whether it be through an attempt to appear unique, or through ignorance. Amirite?

I hate it when people say, "I'm so OCD about this!" not realizing how debilitating OCD can be.

The mental illnesses most trivialized are probably ADHD and depression – the fault of psychiatrists overdiagnosing them and people thus thinking that they're just mild conditions. Everyone seems to forget that part of the definition of a mental illness it that it's pervasive and makes the person unable to lead their life normally.

Just because "Humpty Dumpty" never states that Humpty Dumpty is an egg, that doesn't mean he isn't an egg, amirite?

"Humpty Dumpty" was originally meant to be a riddle. Nowadays, the answer is so well known that there's no point in treating it as such.

Can Money Buy Happiness?

Well, it buys my antidepressants.

What would you like to do on a first date?

If I weren't asexual and forever alone: solve a 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle.

You have at one point wondered if every other human in the world wasn't alive, and that they were activated by your presence somehow; that you were the only person truly experiencing consciousness, Amirite?

Soliloquy of the Solipsist
by Sylvia Plath

I?
I walk alone;
The midnight street
Spins itself from under my feet;
When my eyes shut
These dreaming houses all snuff out;
Through a whim of mine
Over gables the moon's celestial onion
Hangs high.

I
Make houses shrink
And trees diminish
By going far; my look's leash
Dangles the puppet-people
Who, unaware how they dwindle,
Laugh, kiss, get drunk,
Nor guess that if I choose to blink
They die.

I
When in good humor,
Give grass its green
Blazon sky blue, and endow the sun
With gold;
Yet, in my wintriest moods, I hold
Absolute power
To boycott any color and forbid any flower
To be.

I
Know you appear
Vivid at my side,
Denying you sprang out of my head,
Claiming you feel
Love fiery enough to prove flesh real,
Though it's quite clear
All you beauty, all your wit, is a gift, my dear,
From me.

Atheism is more probable than Christianity

Atheism vs. the existence of a god (or gods) might be a more even match. But Christianity is so ridiculous that it's not really worth debating.

prepares for all the Christians to downvote this/rage at me

Calling someone by their initials doesn't sound right unless one of their names starts with a "J", amirite?
Lives are like books. They are all different lengths, different material. Some are sad, some are happy, some are boring, exciting, or a little of both. There will be good chapters and bad chapters. Sometimes you'll read through a good chapter so fast you can't believe it's over, and sometimes it seems like a terrible chapter will never end. But one day life will turn the page. And even though you might reread some old pages, you eventually move on, write a sequel, and then end.

And some fall into a puddle and then get all crinkly even if you try to iron all the water out.

Disney girls are sometimes seen as weak because they seem to need men, but most show strength in unique ways. Mulan is a war hero, Pocahontas respects the earth, Belle is intelligent and patient. Jasmine is adventurous, Meg saves her self from being a slave, Arielle is curious and wishes to explore worlds beyond her own. They are much better role models than the Disney girls today, amirite?
It's weird to think that if you died tomorrow that all of your onlline accounts and affairs would just remain as they were, without your online friends even knowing what happened to you, amirite?

It is really awkward when people break down into the "ugly cry" and makes sounds that are similar to a severely wounded animal. And all you can think is "OMG... this is really awkward! Should I like pat the person on the back and say there, there...?" amirite?

Yes, because crying should always be a poised, elegant thing.
