Oh god I made this account so long ago 😂😂 every comment I wrote was wrong and people should wear whatever they want and also abortion is healthcare and shit
Not always. I think that it is just as important to make sure that things you say aren't offensive to others; just because you don't feel it's offensive doesn't mean you're not responsible for offending someone with your words.
It's not that God 'cares more'; it's the fact that everyone needs redemption for their sins. The price of sin is, as it has been since Adam and Eve, death and an eternity apart from God and love. Sin is the reason we are separated from God. Therefore, sins have to be atoned for in some way. In the Old Testament, people would sacrifice animals to atone for their sins and cleanse themselves in the eyes of God; after Jesus died and became the ultimate sacrifice, people didn't have to do that anymore. Jesus IS the ultimate sacrifice of atonement for sin, and all anyone has to do is accept His love in order to be able to be with God forever in Heaven.
It wasn't by her own strength that she survived all that. God gave her strength, and He will give anyone strength who asks for it.
I don't know what you mean by "the sacrifice wasn't the only bit of redemption from sin."
The Bible does not promote rape, violence toward women, or murder. Much of the Bible is historic accounts of things that took place, and you are clearly taking those instances out of context.
I hate when people make ignorant statements like this. Unless you are omnipotent and know everything about everything in the entire universe and beyond, you CANNOT say without a shadow of a doubt and with any level of legitimacy that God does not exist. It doesn't make logical sense to do so.
I agree. Religion is doing what is right according to your religion regardless of what you are told, whereas morality is doing what is right according to yourself regardless of what you are told.
I, and I'm sure most other Christians, don't consider Westboro Baptist Church to be a Christian organization, regardless of the title 'baptist'. You can't just take extremist groups out of context like that and use it to claim that all, or even most, fundamentalist Christians hate homosexuals.
It's not a matter of being perfect, it's a matter of walking with God and seeking His will. Everyone will slip up, but there is a difference between being human and living a two-sided life.
It's not 'a person being a dumbass'. It's people who call themselves Christians, who may even attend church and be involved in church activities, who conform to the worldly standards that makes up the system of nonbelievers. They talk like them, they act like them, they don't guard themselves against the evil that is in this world. A lot of people see that kind of hypocrisy and decide that God is also a hypocrite or that there is no point to being a Christian when you could just as easily not be a Christian and live the same kind of life. It's all about the hypocrisy.
As to your second statement, it's not unjust. If a person has committed any sin in their lifetime, then they are stained by imperfection. No matter how 'absolutely upstanding' they are, they have sinned at some point and are not perfect. They NEED redemption for their sin. They need a pure sacrifice - just like people in the Old Testament had to sacrifice pure animals to cleanse them of sin, people need to accept Jesus as their perfect sacrifice. It's completely free, and it's sad how many people won't accept it because of their own pride or because of lies that they are fed by the devil.

"and then raise for eighteen years"
Ever heard of adoption.

It's funny because you're assuming that all people who believe in God also believe in the Bible and/or are Christians.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but it seems to me that what Credetemi was trying to get at was that this post was obviously made by a nonreligious person.
