Pitbulls are mean and nasty dogs and it should be illegal to own one, amirite?
@retsofgiants14 The way this post is worded is a little harsh, but I have to agree, because my dad's been a cop for over 20 years...

You do realize that a true Pit bull is supposed to be good with humans, right? A doggy slut of sorts. True, they are prone to dog aggression; that is something any good Pit bull owner will tell you. To say otherwise is denying the history of the breed, yet DA doesn't mean a dog is a murderous monster. It means management. Any good dog owner manages their animal, whether it is a Pit bull or a beagle.

It's ridiculous how hard Pitbull owners have to fight in order to keep their dogs now. There is almost nothing sadder than seeing a good dog being put down because other dogs of the same breed are aggressive. amirite?

@1364610

Meh, Dogs 101 is known for having errors. Not only that, but I don't really trust those lists that tell me which breed is smart and which is dumb. Those list are going to be going off how trainable the dog is.

Girls who like boys: when you like a guy, you feel equally threatened by girls prettier than you and those girls that play videogames really well, amirite?
@Aimz You should see people when I tell them I play Magic (the card game), I either get cheers or people backing away...

I used to "play" Magic. I was seven and it was really just a friend and I stealing cards from each other while arguing over whose card was stronger. I had a large shoebox full of Magic cards.

And then I lost them.

I tell guys I play videogames.

Thumbs up.

I tell guys I play chess.

Pure horror.

It's a little disheartening when you get asked by a classmate how big your book is and why you're reading one so big. Espiecally if it's only about 280 or so pages. amirite?

I was reading Roots in eigth grade.

I think the rest explains itself.

you've gotten spanked AT LEAST once, amirite?
@horsechick There's this little thing called respect. Maybe you've heard of it? It's what you should have for your parents.

You know, the poster never said it was your parents that spanked you. If my aunt tried to spank me, or a cousin, I would have growled and then bitten them.

i always give warnings

When you go to a buffet, you waste so much food, amirite?

UNLESS I'm at this Asian buffet a half hour away. They charge you extra if you waste food.

I getta be a minority again!

You're self-conscious about the way you run, amirite?

I am not, but I help my friends be so. One runs like a duck with a stick up its ass. My mom runs like a duck and another runs like a toddler with a brace on one leg. c:

Parents shouldn't discipline their kids in front of people, amirite?
@x22 i should have specified, my bad. talking to him, or correcting him is fine in public, i should have made it more...

Ah, then in that case, I do agree. If heavy discipline is your thing, don't do it in public. Not just for the sake of the child (I am a very vengeful thing; if my mom had embaressed me, I would have embaressed her in turn), but for the sake of the people there. It's awkward.

Parents shouldn't discipline their kids in front of people, amirite?
@x22 in that situation, i think you should take the kid to the bathroom and do it there. whether its spanking, or whatever.

So, wait, my little brother throws a fit because he can't have candy and what should I do? Take him into the bathroom AND THEN tell him to stop? What is the point then? If he runs into the street, I shouldn't take him aside and tell him never to do that because he could get hurt? No, that's ridiculous. Like I said, there are times where discipline should be resevered for home, but that does not carry through with everything.

Parents shouldn't discipline their kids in front of people, amirite?

Anyhow, that being said, sometimes, discipline shouldn't be carried out in public. But you can't just let your kid run into streets, pull stuff off counters, or have fits in the store without doing anything right then and there.

Parents shouldn't discipline their kids in front of people, amirite?
@finch334 That's the problem with some children today. Parents are scared to discipline. If a child needs to be disciplined...

Well, there are some forms of discipline that should not be carried out in public. If you spank your child, please, don't do it in public all the time...it's incredibly awkward for bystanders and you are setting yourself up for criticism for those that disagree very much with what you are doing.

You may be my elder, but you don't always know more then I do; listen for once. My age doesn't mean I am unable to contribute. It merely means I don't have wrinkles. amirite?
