"Blessed are you when they insult you and persecute you and utter every kind of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward will be great in heaven."
That's one of my favorite quotes.
Also, I read the context of the Matthew quote, and if you spend an extra minute to read all of chapter 10, I think you'll better understand the message.
The pope doesn't just claim to be infallible all the time. If he said that pancakes are better than waffles, that wouldn't mean that it was true or that he was claiming it to be true. He is infallible on the subject of faith and morals and, throughout history, popes have made few and far between ex cathedra statements (doctrines that are infallible). It's not like the pope is claiming new things that he thinks should be true on a daily basis. I'm a catholic and he doesn't affect my life on a daily basis, so if you're not a catholic, which I don't think you are since you made this post, I'm sure he doesn't affect your life all that much.
Believing that the blood and wine turn into the body and blood of Christ is an essential part of Catholicism. The Council of Trent just made that clear and said that anyone who doesn't believe it in is not a Catholic believer. And you are not "eternally tormented" as you said. God doesn't put anyone in hell. People choose to be in hell. It's not a place of eternal suffering and damnation. It's a place where non-believers spend eternity because they didn't want to love God.
Then again, this might just be my beliefs rather than the church. But don't think Catholicism is evil. It's really false and I hate to have people thinking we're all evil, judgmental, terrible people.
That's not how voting works in this country, majority rules the minority. The bicameral legislature makes it pretty fair to both majority and minority.

That's the way I look at it
Same.

This isn't true.
I love this post.

I'm sure their not wanting children isn't because of you. I'm sure you're a great father. Who needs a fairy tale anyway
True true. There's always hope!
I see
Fair enough, as long as you don't go around killing people you're entitled to your opinions

I definitely agree with you. That's just not what I interpreted the post to be talking about
You don't have to be obsessed with pokemon to be a nerd
I think Bigtrex meant pre-Obama. That's why Obama shouldn't be reelected..
