Whenever someone says, "It's getting hot in here" I automatically think, "So take off all your clothes."

This is the POTD? Smh, Amirite. It's not even in the right format.

How are we supposed to vote? "Yes, you do automatically think that."

So done with this site.

If you knew you were dying in 60 seconds, what would your last words be?

"My only regret is that I have boneitis."

Why we ignore Space Debris Threat in Space? What can we do for Space Debris mitigation?

We ignore it, for the most part, because there are so many more higher-priority threats.

And like Purplatious said, the likelihood of getting hit is very small. I mean, even when galaxies collide, planets rarely strike each other.

Scientists explore truth but Christianity is the truth, scientists are just too prideful to accept that truth.

Truth requires facts. Please give us one single FACT that proves that Christianity is 'right' and there is an omnipotent being.

Loving the superiority complex, btw. It's funny, everyone else can see how incredibly wrong you are, but you read a couple of books and suddenly you know the origins and meaning of life.

In the United States before the Civil War, slavery was legal in how many states: 6, 15 or 33?

I feel like I'm at school right now.

Why go to amirite.com when I could just go to college.real?

Besides that, it's just a stupid question. There's no time frame. There have been both 6 as well as 13 states that have allowed slavery over the years.

You are not born a winner; you are not born a loser. You are born a chooser.
@Skr3wBall I think life is deeper than just choices. I think it has a lot to do with how things impact you rather than the...

But things impact you depending on how you've acted to cause those things to occur. For the most part, anyways.

It's an incredibly vague post which leaves itself open to self-interpretation.

You are not born a winner; you are not born a loser. You are born a chooser.
@Skr3wBall If I chose win and lose, then why would I choose lose?

I think it's a little deeper than "I'm going to be a winner throughout my entire lifetime!

If you decide to drop out of school and join a gang, odds are that it's not going to work out in your favor. If you decide to tell your boss your ideas about the company, then you may just find yourself with a spiffy new office.

You choose the decisions you make. Whether they are good or bad is a moral issue, but they have a long-term impact on your life.

Of course there's a billion variables. I mean if you're born into a poor African family, you may be at a slight disadvantage compared to the son of a wealthy oil tycoon.

Humans knowledge is expanding exponentially. How will our educations systems prepare newer generations to understand all these new concepts?

Well I plan to have a USB 4.0 port installed in my brain somewhere around 2030, so I would imagine that's what erryone'll be doing.

Just download me some facts straight into my brain hole.

Should colleges and universities be penalized for graduating English-speaking students who cannot speak, write, and spell proper English?

Absolutely. A diploma should mean something. When you see something who can't say two sentences without using 'ain't' yet has a degree, it devalues the worth of graduating from college.

At most colleges, English is required. It's obviously not doing much.

The primary difference between a rich person and a poor person is how they manage fear.

Actually it's money.

Should males be treated as superior to female counterparts, in any sphere of life? Why or why not?
Sometimes, when you see a morbidly obese person, you wonder how the hell they let that happen...and then you remember that chocolate is a thing, amirite?
@AdonisBatheus I never said there wasn't. We do need to get politically correct, because people are stupid and ignorant and I bet...

There's always going to be a surplus of idiots in the world. Not really any point in getting this worked up over them. You'll give yourself a heart attack cyc smilie

Sometimes, when you see a morbidly obese person, you wonder how the hell they let that happen...and then you remember that chocolate is a thing, amirite?
@AdonisBatheus Yes, so above average body weight. Above average means anything above the average. And yes, there is a genetic...

Yes Adonis, that's all good and well. And true. But there are people who have eaten too much to gain their massive weight. I think it's safe to assume that's what the OP meant. We don't need to get all politically correct on everything.

It's obviously none of your business if you have to ask what we're arguing about, amirite?

What about policemen encountering two people screaming at each other?

You worry more about the future than the past, amirite?
