About me.

So for the longest time all I had here was "Star Trek is awesome". While that pretty thoroughly sums me up, I thought maybe someone might be looking for more than that. So here goes.
I'm a college student in the United States studying mechanical engineering (even though my passion is for civil engineering) who is perpetually behind with his school work. I took German in highschool, and am again now, and actually starting to get it this time. Besides Star Trek, I like:
-Cars
-Music
-Science
-Video Games

I'll elaborate a little on each.

Cars:
I like old school muscle cars, mostly FoMoCo (Ford Lincoln and Mercury) things. My current favorite car, I'd have to say, is the 1969 Mercury Cougar Eliminator. I am an open car racist, Americans cars are the best and I will never own a Japanese one, but German would be ok. My favorite thing to do in the whole world is drive, something I do whenever I have the time and the money for fuel. I have a 1991 Mercury Grand Marquis that I affectionately named "Caroline" after the unseen character in Portal 2.

Music:
I like mostly oldies. There's the occasional bit of newer stuff I like (Weezer, Gorillaz) but mostly it's music written before I was born, like The Who, The Beatles, The Eagles, and many of their contemporaries. I like classical as well, Mozart can almost move me to tears. My all time favorite band, though, is Pink Floyd. I put them on the same level of musical brilliance as the greats like Bach and Mozart. They created true masterpieces who's music will (hopefully) be remembered for all time. The Wall is easily comparable to any of Mozart's symphonies for depth and splendor. I played percussion in band in high school and that's the only part of high school I miss, as regrettably I'm not in band now in college.

Science:
Ever since I was little I was fascinated by science. I love to know how things work, and I want to understand everything. I like science fiction, and am ever endeavoring to make science fiction the reality of tomorrow.

Video Games:
I'm a old fan of the Command and Conquer series, but mostly one game out of them; Red Alert 2. It's the first game I ever really, really got into. Now, though, I'm more likely to be playing Tekkit (The mod for Minecraft), League of Legends or World of Warcraft.

Supposing you actually read all that, thanks! And if not, here's the summary. I like Pink Floyd, cars, sci-fi video games.
