How well-disciplined are you with abstaining from using vulgarities?
@Sunny_the_skeptic I haven't slipped out any swears when I don't intend to

As a teen I used to float a few - as an adult, there are only a few expressions I've retained that fit the need I'd have to express my deepest, truest emotions... just a few.

Thanks for sharing... truly, it's appreciated ;)

What have you broken by sitting on it?

My train of thought.

Tonight my errant mind went youtube on me, selecting, all on its own, John Denver's "Calypso". I remember the song giving me goosebumps when it first came out - maybe it was the yodeling. Anyway, I'd like other's opinions, in any way, on any level. Thanks in advance.

I've liked several of his songs but this one, though, had a pure quality to it, like the ocean before we started dumping plastic and worse into it.

My ability to multi-task caps off at chewing gum while breathing; on a scale of 1 through 10, where would you, honestly, place your skill?
@StarzAbove I multi task all the time, probably an 8!

I envy you the skill :) Once in a while I succeed but not usually lol

Nice to see you :)

The response to we need to talkish would depend on the history one's had with their partner; usually, I wouldn't think anything of it.

DeKalb County police officer repeatedly beating a defenseless homeless woman - in my mind, the officer's behavior was subhuman - what do you think?
@Sukiesnow You can only change your name twice on Amirite.

True, but how does that fit into this issue? I'm missing something :)

If you were a security guard in Canada...would you have intervened at a shootout?

If that's what the job calls for, sure.

Is it normal for me to want to be buried after I die, whereas all my family members want to be cremated?

I'd like to be buried in the usual way, too, Stephen, for the same reason.

43.5% on a scale of 1 to 100 - that includes every damned nuance known to Man, lol

Working girl's "Let the River Run", by Carly Simon, is one empowerment song that pumps me up and Shakira's "Try Everything". Which female empowerment song most often shakes you to life and brings a smile to your face... makes you want to stand up and punch the air (and the guy next to you)?
@2680302

That song was wall-to-wall empowerment - maybe not in the sweet cozy cloud-cuddly way but the lyrics were very definitely definitive :D

Thanks, more than you know, for Alanis' song - it's been forever since I've heard anything she's made. You remain the best ;)

The mark of a fair man is one who will apply to himself what he expects of others.
@2676964

I don't suppose that can be overdone :)

Thanks for your input, Will.

Yup, I have no problems with them.

@2676975

I have to agree with your agreement, lol.

Thanks for giving your perspective :)

Do off-topic responses to posts you've submitted sometimes bother you, especially when the responses get muchfarther away from the original issue?
@2745860

Thanks for your feedback... nice to have your point of view ;)
