Boys grow up liking trucks, fighting, non-girly colours, and don't care how they look. Girls grow up liking barbies, pink and purple, tea parties, and think boys are all stupid. Don't try to change this. "Gender-neutrality" in childhood is just bad in the sense that kids should just do what they desire. Men and women have different interests and roles. Please do not try to change this, amirite?
@Straight_Pride I mean encourage boys to be boyish and girls to be girlish.

Shouldn't you just encourage them to play with any toy they want? There is no harm with a girl playing with a truck, or playing bull rush.

You should only be concerned about gender identity if they consantly tell you they are the other gender, and geniunly are troubled.

Just do anything for your child so they are happy and good children. Isn't that all that counts?

The cause of obesity is partially the fact that Lucky Charms is cheaper than Kashi. In our poor economy, people are turning to cheaper food options which are not always healthy food options, amirite?

My country was going to abolish GST on Healthy foods, but gave up because the couldn't define what "Healthy food" was.

But in all honesty, it's not that hard to eat healthy on a budget, maybe the expetion of meat, but there are healthy alternatives for everything. Like branded food is exactly the same as cheaper, unbranded food.

And whoever thinks buying takeaways is cheaper is a joke, it accumulates to a lot more than grocery shopping every week. People just don't realise it because it is portrayed as much cheaper.

Girls: it's always a little weird when someone comments that you look like your dad, amirite?
@JennaGee I get told I look just like my dad all the time and I'm not sure how to take it.

Same here, my whole life. Even his new wife said I look like him. Awks.

When you're giving birth, what happens when you're pushing and you accidentally shit? amirite?

Yeah most woman poop during labour or pushing. It's a sign the baby's about to come.

Such a beautiful process.

These days it seems like kids at practically any age have things they don't even need. For example, a 7 year old having an iphone 4. amirite?

I know a 12 year old with an iPod touch, iPhone 4, and a macbook pro. I have an iPod touch and ... well that's it, and I'm 17.

If a high school requires gym class three of the four years, in a way the school's saying that, when it gets down to it, gym isn't really necessary. it'd be better to either require P.E. all four years, or not require it at all. amirite?

And this is why American children are obese.

It sucks how in some states, if you spank your child once, you go to jail for a long time. amirite?

I know many children who were spanked as children, and didn't dicipline them as they thought, "Oh it's ok I will just get the spank anyway," as it's not a big deal to them. But some children do respond well to it.

I still think there are some other effective ways of punishing your child, that are most likely more effective than spanking, you just need to know what the child responds to and doesn't.

On the otherhand, I was only spanked once as a child, and it scared me shitless, stopped me from doing that ever again.

There's that one song you can't get through without shedding a tear, amirite?

My heart will go on; Titanic.
For some reason, makes me tear up every single time. Was playing in a material store and I could feel it coming on ono smilie

There's no way it was an "accident" that the Earth magically formed by itself and had oxygen, water, sunlight, and humans who "accidentally" were made but coincidentally had reproductive organs, brains, and body parts perfectly arranged so that we could move and breathe and think. Why couldn't God just have done all that stuff on purpose? amirite?
@FlipFlopsAndSocks That's not what I meant. I didn't explain myself correctly so I'll try and rephrase. The theory of evolution is...

I get what you mean, but the theory states that we evolved to adapt to the earth. It's recently that humans have been trying to change the world to suit us, and evolution has become obsolete due to healthcare, technology etc.
But yes I agree. We do suck on a biological point of view.

@FlipFlopsAndSocks I think a problem with this argument is because people will say that Earth is so perfectly suited to our needs that...

We were not made for the earth. We saw a niche that was open and took advantage.

Have you seen the way we have treated this earth? We do nothing benificial for it.

Think of it this way, if you take all of the insects out of the earth, it will eventually die. If you take out humans, it will thrive.

I'm not bashing your beliefs, but it's also ignorant to think they we were all created perfectly like we are now, by God however long ago it was.
It's fact that we evolve to fit our surroundings, it's the most important part of life.
And by your logic, it's "accidental" that we have reproductive systems, isn't that the whole reason for species to exist? To reproduce and overcome new enviromental challenges, to evolve our species to make it better?

Nothing that has ever happened was accidental, and no scientist will ever say the creation of anything was accidental.

Pick up a text book before you start and argument about something you obviously know little about.

@AdamBermingham its called evolution you retard humans evolved from monkey like creatures were instead of using broad strength to...

Please don't pretend you know what you are talking about.
We did not evolve from monkeys, we are close relitives of the family, but a different species.
If you want to get technical, they think that every single living thing has evolved from one ancient animal that resembles a rat.
Actually pick up a text book and learn something before arguing it.

The first time you have an anxiety attack is really scary, amirite?

I actually have an anxiety disorder, mine is more of a constant anxiety throughout the day, or I will obsess over something silly like I left my car unlocked, or the straightner is on, which will then make me anxious and obsess over it the whole day and prevent me from functioning normally.

I also constantly think about things that people say, I'm really paranoid that my friends don't really like me etc.

It seems to get a lot worse around exams or high stress situations, which is when I get the full blown panic attacks, it's a horrible experience.

The school system is a joke, if I'm smarter than a Senior and all of my classes are more advanced than his why is he out of school earlier than me? Let the smart people go and make the stupid people keep going to school. amirite?

School isn't just for being "Smart" and learning generic subjects. It teaches you how to function in society, and how to relate to others on an intellectual level. Also learning a good work ethic and many other skills.

Many people who were "Dumb" in school turned out to be very smart and succesfull people.
Albert Einstein was a dropout, look what he did for the world.
