Denying Muslims a mosque because of 9/11 is like failing an entire class because one student didn't pass the final exam, amirite?
@DestroyMySweater Jerk

I understand how people are upset with the mosque being built, I really do. 9/11 was terrible and I wish it never happened. But that doesn't mean that all Muslims are evil. Most of them aren't, and I think they shouldn't be descriminated against because of what a few extremists did.

@Well I believe muslims have the right to have a mosque. I just don't think there should be one close to where the...

Nazis were an extremist group, like Al-Qaeda. If they were building an Al-Qaeda monument near Ground Zero, I would have a problem with that. But they're not. We don't hate on Germany because of WW2, and we shouldn't discriminate against Muslims because of 9/11.

Spheres: The most pointless thing ever, amirite?

Technically, spheres are made of infinite POINTS each the same distance from the center of the sphere.

Sorry for being a geometry nerd :P

@I think that putting a mosque so close to the twin towers is VERY disrespectful. It's quite disgusting to think...

I agree with you that 9/11 was horrible and that the policemen and firefighters were the real heroic ones, but I still feel that Muslims have as much right to worship wherever they please as any other religion.

"Teenagers these days need to improve their posture!" Yeah right, you'd slouch too if you had three textbooks on your back, amirite?

Teenagers don't understand the difference between photography and taking a damn picture. Documenting a moment is oceans away from capturing art, amirite?

Just so you know, there are many teenagers who can take amazing photos.

@DestroyMySweater YES EXACTLY! I don't understand people who are for this mosque. Are you even American? Irony understand who would...

Yes, I'm American. I live in New England, right next to New York. Look, you have different opinons than I do, and I'm accepting that fact. I don't think of you as any less of a person because of that. I just think that Muslims as a whole shouldn't be punished for what a few people did.

You don't understand anorexic people. Seriously, how can you NOT want to eat, it's like America's past time, amirite?

@hi

Thank you for your insightful input, sistaa frieenndddd :P

People just need to get over 9/11 already. It happened, it's over, and if you keep trying to mourn about it, then we'll never change. I mean, you don't see anybody mourning over the anniversary of the Holocaust or anything. Let it go already. amirite?

You seem to be very hypocritical. You tell everyone your just voicing your opinion, and they shouldn't hate on you for thinking differently. But then when other people have different opinions than you, you get defensive and tell them that everyone should just get over it, like yourself.

I watched a slideshow in my US History class about 9/11 today. When we were walking out of class, a guy said, "I wanted to punch the screen when his face popped up!" And I thought they were talking about Osama Bin Laden, but they were talking about George W. Bush. I mean, everyone can have their opinions, but that's just unpatriotic. amirite?

Is it also unpatriotic when people hate on Obama?

@AdonisBatheus For the people who WEREN'T INVOLVED, they should get over it. The other people... Yeah, some people don't get over...

I can see your point, but I don't think it really applies to 9/11. Yeah, if your friend breaks up with their boyfriend/girlfriend you don't have to be sad for them, but so many people DIED. It makes me feel sick just thinking about how devastating it was.
