I'll admit that Kobe Bryant is an amazing basketball player, and I respect him. But people need to stop saying he's as good as Michael Jordan. There never will be another MJ, he's in a class by himself, amirite?
@iamnotahumanbeing Im pretty sure MJ had Scottie by his side the entire time. And what about Bill Russel? 11 championships while...

(continued) You think Wilt would get 227 double doubles playing in Jordan's era? Guys like Laimbeer, Mahorn, Rodman would stop him. Shaq, Hakeem, David Robinson, Mutombo, none of these guys would shy away from a challenge.
If he played in today's league in his prime, you think Wilt would get 227 double doubles against guys like Andrew Bogut, Kevin Love, Andrew Bynum, Dwight Howard?
You put guys like Wilt, Bill Russell, and Kareem in later eras, they'd have a much tougher time and a lot less glory. You put MJ in any era, he dominates.

Scottie is great, no doubt. But other than him, who did MJ really have? I guess you could count Horace Grant, maaaybe Dennis Rodman, though he was at the end of his career when MJ played with him.
Russell had guys like Cousy, Heinsohn, Havlicek, Jones, Howell, etc. I'm not disputing that Russell is an all-time great, in my opinion he's the greatest defensive center of all time. But considering he was always playing with about 2 other future HOF-ers, obviously they'd have a solid chance at winning every year while he was playing.
Yeah, Kareem had 6. MJ had 5. But you gotta remember MJ missed a year and a half in his prime with his baseball thing. I'm not saying he absolutely would've won MVP those years, but I'd say he'd have a solid shot at it.
Wilt got all those double doubles because he played in a league where he was easily the most athletic guy, with no one strong enough to put a body on him or box him out.

Most song lyrics make absolutely no sense, amirite?
@I'm not saying that Black and Yellow doesn't make sense, but what is it about? Pittsburgh? His car? Sports teams?

Yeah NfskMjmMal had it right, he's from Pittsburgh, and all the sports teams wear black and yellow (Steelers, Penguins, Pirates).

It's weird when some one comments on a facebook post that you made months ago, because then you know they were creeping your page, amirite?

It's worse when you are creeping on someone's page, see something from months ago, and have a perfect line or comment for it but you can't use it.

Concerts in small venues are a lot funner than in large arenas with 100,000 other people. In small venues, you can be 10 feet away from one of your idols, amirite?

And it's better because usually the band will actually come out after the show and hang out with fans :)

Freeman, Freeman and Freeman.

It seems that the Harry Potter movies get darker as he gets older, amirite?

Hmm, maybe it's because the 2nd most powerful wizard ever progressively comes back to life as the series goes on, and since he's hellbent on killing Harry, things get kinda dark....

USA is the spoiled brat of the world, amirite?

And we love it that way.

You wonder how people in Asian countries type on the computer if they have thousands of characters instead of letters, amirite?

I'm merely saying No Way because I live in Japan and know how to type in Japanese. Not each individual kanji character gets its' own key.

Blink-182 >Green Day, amirite?

Almost every band today has been influenced by Blink 182 in SOME way.

When you were little, kids were jealous of you if you stayed up really late. Now, people are jealous of you if you go to bed really early, amirite?

Though in all fairness, "late" for a little kid is about 10 o'clock, "early" for us now is around that time as well.
