People show their true personalities online, such as being as outgoing as they truly are, because it's less intimidating to talk to someone if you can't see their face, amirite?

If you aren't as outgoing in real life, that's still a part of your "true personality." I would agree that many people are better able to express their opinions and tastes on the web, but saying that they're better able to express their "true personality" online is kinda an irritating Implication.

Being socially awkward irl but outgoing online doesn't change the fact that you're still awkward in person. That's still a part of your personality. And that's OK, man.

You have at one point, or do now, believe in God, amirite?
@Handsy There you go again- saying a whole religion is childish. When you really think about the universe, and the way it...

Honestly, I'm finding you being somewhat close-minded yourself by saying that people who shut out the possibility of God are close-minded.

Do routine things spectacularly, rather than spectacular things roultinely, amirite?

So...I should like, brush my teeth spectacularly rather than save lives everyday? Or am I just interpreting this post incorrectly?

Currently, many people are questioning whether God's name should be mentioned in the Pledge of Allegiance, but what we really should be questioning is whether we should be blindly swearing our allegiance to a government, amirite?

I think it's mind-numbing but harmless. If anyone were to think about going against the government in any sort of way, they wouldn't be stopped in their tracks by the thought, "Oh, I can't, I pledged allegiance to the flag."

They make us say it so much that hardly anyone cares anymore.

They should paint the lines on the roads with glow-in-the-dark paint, amirite?
@PurpleZebra Distraction much...?

I wouldn't say so. There are streetlights and houselightls lining the streets at night and people do just fine ignoring those.

Pants are for squares.

people who work in Hot Topic are actually really nice! amirite?

See, I don't get these generalizations. At all. There may be nice people who work at Hot Topic, sure. There are also undoubtedly many assholes who work at Hot Topic.

"Regular" marriage & "Gay" marriage are like bikini tops & bras. Exactly the same thing, yet only one is allowed in public. amirite?
@J_A_C_K it's not the same at all?

Please expand on why you say they aren't the same. People used to deny blacks rights because of who they are; now people are trying to deny gays rights because of who they are.

It's discrimination based off of something jotted down in a book thousands of years ago. It's the degradation of a type of people based on who they love, and denying them their rights is utterly wrong.

People shouldn't be kind, moral, and ethical simply because they fear being smited or not making it into heaven. They should be good people because that is the right way to behave as a human being. amirite?
@Wunderscore I get what you're saying, but I still disagree. If people feel that a god(s) will encourage them to be a better...

I don't think that's quite the same thing. Religion encouraging people to do good is great, but when people start being kind only because they are afraid (and wouldn't do good otherwise), I think that points to something inherently and morally wrong.

People shouldn't be kind, moral, and ethical simply because they fear being smited or not making it into heaven. They should be good people because that is the right way to behave as a human being. amirite?
@Wunderscore I disagree. If you live your life in a such a way that, if there is a god, you would get into heaven, then you have...

The point is that a person shouldn't be a mindless minion driven by fear. People should be kind because they are good of heart, not because some all-mighty being tells them so.

In practice, which is solely based around action, it's all good if everyone acts ethical. However, what if you found out that 50% of the ethical-acting population only act in such a way because they are afraid of God, not out of the goodness of their own hearts? In principal, this is wrong. People should act out of their own kindness, not out of fear.

Schools are so corrupt nowadays. All the priorities are reversed. Everybody is concerned about grades. I think we're forgetting what school is really about - learning. Think of how inneffective memorizing random vocab is, or what your remember in your history class from September. Good grades don't mean you're smart, amirite?

Grades aren't everything, but they're a large part of what colleges look at. Good grades ensure a better chance at success, so with the way our school system is set up people should be concerned about them.

It's ok to drink excessively on your 21st birthday, amirite?

My teacher told some story about a kid drinking so much hard liquor on his 21st that his body couldn't handle it. I think he ended up hospitalized.

So don't make it too excessive.

You hated when cartoon shows switched animators and the characters seemed to have suddenly undergone extensive plastic surgery, amirite?
@YeahIAm You mean 3D modelers? Because the animators only create the animations for the 3D models already created. Sounded...

Nah, not smart ass. I can't say I'm all too familiar with cartoon animation; 3D modelers sounds right the way you described it.

Morality is doing what is right regardless of what you are told. Religion is doing what you are told regardless of what is right. amirite?
Your hair sometimes has the power to make you feel depressed. amirite?
@Tweetbaby14 This argument has been over. Please don't go around on the Internet starting random drama. Get a life, thanks.

Funny how you tell me not to go around starting Internet drama. I had a right to state my opinion on the matter.
