Most advanced math (Algebra, Calculus, etc...) is unneeded in life, unless you plan on becoming an engineer or something along those lines. I mean, when are you going to need to find X and solve for all of its possible values to buy a carton of milk, amirite?

So many careers require advanced mathematics. And those careers aren't limited to engineers or even limited to technological jobs.
