I did too!! I told all my friends he was secretly good and we just didn't know it yet and it turned out that I was right in the end... I feel so bad for his struggle in life, he was never really loved or accepted by anyone but Dumbledore and he had to kill him :(

I believe Snape is bad. I know he turns out to be on the goodside, but it was only for love. I still believe he was a bad man. (I'm not trying to condratict, just putting out a new opinion.) :)
