"From" and "plays for" are two different things. I do admire the ump for admitting it. He really seems to just be a guy who loves the game, and I think he's taking his mistake really hard. But hey, at least Galarraga got a Vette out of the whole thing. :D

Yeah, I felt bad for both parties, Galarraga AND Jim Joyce. Joyce made the wrong call, and will have to live with it, but he showed that he is a classy guy by admitting he was wrong and personally apologizing to Galarraga and the team. And Galarraga... man what a classy guy he is. He never said one negative thing about Joyce, and he never erupted or lost his composure, just kept smiling. One of the greatest baseball men in recent memory, in my opinion
