+313 Why does New Jersey have so many shows? ( Jersey Shore, Jeresylicious) what makes them important, amirite?

Dysfunction is always entertaining!

Can I point out that none of the jersey shows are at all realistic? Anyway, they more represent north jersey, which nobody likes anyway. North and South jersey are practically two different states. North, a suburb of NYC, the South, suburbs of Philly, then pine barrens, then shore.

I don't know.. But I've been to New Jersey SEVERAL times. And it sucks.

I've been to New Jersey before too. It didn't seem that much different to everywhere else except for their accents. Are you sure it just wasn't the people you were with in New Jersey that were making it so awful or maybe it was just that specific area in New Jersey? I mean really there's more to a state than just that one area you visited. I live in Southern California and the city I live in is completely different from LA, Compton, and Santa Monica, all of which are also in Southern CA.

Maybe... its always near an air force base, always gloomy with lots of clouds, and always smells like street tar.

Ahhh, New Jersey. We smell funny to other states, apparently. And yes, I'm from North Jersey. It's funny to watch Jersey Shore and laugh at those ignorant retards trying to be cool "guidos". :]

NORTH JERSEY ISN'T GUIDO-VILLE. I lIVE IN NORTH JERSEY AND I DIDN'T EVEN SEE A GUIDO UNTIL MY 10TH YEAR LIVING HERE.

They're trying to make up for the awesomeness of neighbor New York.
