+191 If you live on a coast, you have a hard time thinking about ever living in a landlocked state or area, because then the ocean would be too far away, Amirite?

You guys don't know how lucky you are! I live 2000+ kilometers from any coast and it's terrible.

The man-made/ lake beaches probably aren't too great, either. I could be wrong, though.

I'm landlocked, but at least I get mountains :3

Personally I don't know what it is all about considering the part of Georgia [the state not the country] I live in get everything we need from water from rivers so you just visit the Atlantic for a tourist spot or whatever.

I know people who go to the beach every weekend. I can't imagine living in a landlocked state.

I live in an area with probably 8 lakes within 20 minutes of my house. I prefer fresh water over salt water, I couldn't imagine living without lakes. Bet someone can figure out which state I'm from.

I live in California, but the beach is still really far away. Norcal has a bunch of lakes, though, so it's cool :)

I live like 8 minutes from the beach, but I'm definitely not a beach kind of person. I guess I just kinda take it for granted.

I've never lived near the ocean, but I've visited and I seriously feel like I'm dying on my little piece of Albertan soil.

I live in an area where you're surrounded by beaches everywhere you go. It just seems odd to not have any beaches anywhere.

Part of the reason I love living only an hour away from the pacific ocean is the idea that when I visit, i am standing on the edge of the worlds largest body of water. Its a neat idea. Also, beach towns are amazing, beach sand is amazing, seagulls are amazing, and so is saltwater taffy. :)
