I hope you mean like toddlers and young children, not babies... there is never an excuse to punish or use 'tough love' on a baby.

Yeah...like when you KNOW theres absolutely nothing wrong with them, and they aren't hungry, and they diaper is dry, and you've held them all you can, it's time to just lay them down and let them bawl for no reason.
