+207 It's kind of amusing how humans are literally living on top of each other, when there is still so much unused space in this world, amirite?

Yeah but I dont want ALL the beautiful landscapes destroyed. I have lived in a development for 8 years and I have watched farms be turned into condos, good walking woods have become condos....

Yeah, that bites :/ I thought of that point of view after I posted this. And I am a total nature guy, so I kind of feel stupid :P

yeh and what about the animals? they need space too. Humans are ruining everything

I agree! Why are you appearing anonymous?

Perhaps they haven't made an account?

I'd like to keep some of America's beautiful landscape and wildlife habitats, thankyouverymuch.

I took a flight from Mississippi to Colorado and realized that a lot of the USA is large, sparsely populated land. I guess it never occured to me how much farm land we need to harvest all of these foods we need.

I think we should keep it that way. We are destroying forests too rapidly. I love the earth too much to see it destroyed.

Inerestingly, up to only one or two million years ago, the world was all grassland. No forests. It annoys me when people think humans are the first thing to change it's environment. Animals and stuff don't live at "harmony" with their habitat: they take the reasorces that are there, and when those run out, they move on. The world has been molded and changed by powers much greater and more ancient than us for millions of years. But the concern is nice.

I am Republican, but we've pushed the environment to the limit...

You're right, we should spread everyone equally and all live on farms instead of having the convenience of cities.

Hahaha. People get so uptight about OPINIONS. It's not like anything is going to happen just because I said anything, so just calm down. By the way, the unused space I am referring to is all that space that is considered to be "in the middle of nowhere." I live in Idaho, where we have some of the most beautiful landscape and wilderness in the U.S. in my opinion. I have absolutely no intentions of ruining any more scenic, beautiful land than we already have. I'm talking about mile after mile of "in-between" land, specifically the land between western Idaho and Bend, OR. All it is, is endless, open land that is covered in sagebrush. Sure, there is some wildlife living somewhere out there, but hardly any. That is probably the most boring drive you can possibly go on. BUT ANYWAY, calm down. Nothing is changing, and I don't care about your "insightful" opinions if they are just trying to make me feel like a dumb ass.
