I am in no way saying that the government is horrible or that I dislike the US, I love living here. However, the more "nanny laws" that are created to "protect us from ourselves" not only foster the now common-place notion that one is not responsible for their own actions and choices, but also drives us to become like China where the government dictates our every action and thought.
