+947 You can't comprehend why kids under the ages of 10 have iTouchs or iPhones. It's just sort of ridiculous to give such a small kid such an advanced piece of technology; they're not toys. amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I know, it's ridiculous! My sister's five, but she acts like she's sixteen. What the hell hapened to kids?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Seriously -.- whenever I see that, I feel like yanking the itouch/iphone away from them and smacking the parents, or whoever got it for them, in the face with it :]

I didn't get my first MP3[which was $40] until 7th grade, and in 8th grade I got my sister's old iPod. My first phone was the LG Chocolate, because it was buy one/get one and my sister needed a new one. We never cursed. Ever. And now, my little, 10 yr old brother wants to curse and asked my mom to get him an iTouch and a Blackberry, even though he puts ZERO effort into school. Luckily, my and my dad's logic is preventing her from spoiling him, but these kids are ridiculous. My 11 yr old neighbor has an iPhone, 5 pairs of Uggs, and an all-Abercrombie wardrobe. People like that will depend on people their whole lives.

Omg couldn't have said it better. :p little kids these days need a slap in the face. They have NO use for technology. Chances are they'd break it 5 minutes after holding it. They should stick to their hot wheels and barbies and shit.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Tooo true. Especially if they're not doing well in school. Sure, it might only be 5th/6th/7th grade, but it's the foundation for the grades that colleges actually look at. If they think, "Oh. It doesn't matter. Mommy and Daddy will get me everything I need", they will be working at a minimum wage job. Parents keep thinking that not giving their kids everything they want is abuse, and punishing them will get them arrested. It's so not true. Kids need discipline.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

that is so true. my little nine year old cousin got a laptop for christmas and not even three months later she "stepped" on it and it now has a large crack in the middle of the screen

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Fully agree. My sister's 12 and has an iPod touch and a Blackberry. It's like how can my parents even justify that. The thing that really gets me is that I'm still using my 4-year old iPod nano. Seriously, parents need to learn to say no to their kids.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I go to a school where at recess, they have older kids help watch littler kids. One day, a kindergartener (mind my spelling) pulled out an iTouch! I was so angry. My iPod is broken, and I'm not begging for a new one!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Wow you people are rude.I'm turning 11 and I got the Iphone when I was 6 and by the way I do get good grades. I'm even in GATE. We also have better uses of technology than older people. You older high schoolers of college people are just jealous.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Silly little troll. My sisters didn't get a phone until 9th grade. I don't get mine till 10th.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

LMFAO I laughed when I read "silly little troll" :D you tell him!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

we're not rude, we're speaking the truth!!!! and im not in high school yet, but i understand the meaning of being a spoiled little troll. i got my first cell phone when i was 11!!! why would a six year old need a cell phone????? U WERE IN FIRST GRADE!!!!!!!!! it doesnt matter if u got good grades or not, you are too young to understand how much an iphone is worth! my 2 little cousins had ipods and lost them on their vacation three weeks after they got ipods and they were six and nine years old!!!! im just saying that little kids break every expensive electronic they get. and i'm NOT jealous. and i bet when u got the iphone U asked for it and ur parents said yes because theyre push overs!!!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Dude you seriously did not just say you LITTLE FAGGOTS have better use of technology instead of older people. Ignorant, immature, insignificant small children like you make me want to shove all your "advanced pieces of technology" up your ass. <3

by Anonymous 13 years ago

And how would younger kids have more uses for them? Telling your parents you're going to be home late from nap time? Making weekend plans? You're 6! Plus there are a lot of still sensible parents who don't give their kids phones at 6 (thank god) so how many of your friends can you be communicating with? There's no way 6 year old have more use for them than us high schoolers and college kids.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Uhm hello. I'm eleven and I have an ipad. That's how I'm on this website right now. And to speak for the younger ones I don't agree. Some of us deserve it and I keep my grades up. So shut up and get a freaking life and quiet complaining on everything you don't have and if you really want it save up your money and buy it yourself!!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Lmfao bro, why the fuck do you have an iPad? And if you can't read (since you're so "gifted" and keep your grades up) I said UNDER TEN YEARS OLD. So YOU get a life and stop standing up for little kids that have nothing to do with you. :]

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Well i bet you didn't buy your ipad yourself. If you did, good for you, but we're just saying... A 6-11 year old has no need for an iphone/ itouch/ipad/blackberry or whatever.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I got a phone when I was like ten or eleven, but it wasn't for socializing or doing whatever, it was for safety reasons; that is what my parents told me and the reason why I got it. I think being around twelve or thirteen isn't TOO bad, but I would say people who are older definitely need it more. And it wouldn't be so bad if the people who got good grades (I manage to get all A's and a lot of my stuff is rewards) and who acted well, but people, or kids, so to say, who are rude and greedy don't deserve it. If the kid knows that parent's money and technology aren't the sole factor for living and such n' such, then it isn't too bad. But most kids don't know that.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Oh no, that I understand because my brother and I got some shitty Nokia in 3rd grade but that was for safety since we went to an after school program. I specifically said iTouch or iPhone. Because those things are really expensive, and fragile, and for OLDER people, get me? I don't really care if some 8 year old has some ugly, crappy flip phone :p lol.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

For the silly little troll I'm a girl !!!!! Oh and if you think older kids are more responsible , well my sister got an iPhone too and got it stolen. So you know what I'Ve had miner for a while and Im doing a darn good job taking care of it. Also alot of my friends have phones so shut up and deal with it. You wish you had one and I didn't even know what an iPhone was until I got one when I was 6 so stop saying our parents spoil us cause I'm turning 11 and I get As and am very responsible.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

prick. I knew what a troll was when i was ur age. they dont mean in the way that you think you do. guys, dont pick on this person, because obviously, to fill in this person's need for friends, his parents bought him an iPhone, as a way to bbuy some friends. something you need to know is that in middle/high school, it is a lot easier to lose things because people know how to pick locks on lockers, and ur not allowed to carry these things with you... prick.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Little troll that disagreed up there: um how do I put this nicely? YOURE REALLY FUCKING ANNOYING AND A SPOILED TINY BRAT. "shut up", "deal with it", "darn good", just stfu because you're obviously not even in 7th grade yet probably.. As for your sister, um SHIT HAPPENS. Things get stolen. Doesn't mean younger little annoying kids like you have a better chance of being responsible and deserve an iphone, itouch, or whatever.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Oh and my sisters in high school!!!

Oh and my sisters in high school!!!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(Anonymous) You know, I wouldn't mind so much if you had an iPhone while you're 11 and just don't make a big deal out of it. If you're telling me to "just shut up and deal with it", you do sound like a spoiled brat.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

By the way I have a LOT of friends and I'm not spoiled so stop calling me a spoiled brat if you don't even know me.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Nobody cares. <3 look how many people agree with me lol.
