Store brand food is definitely not worth the savings compared to name brand food, amirite?

You know store brand food is exactly the same as name brand, right? That's why store brand food companies hire chemical engineers, they re-create the chemical make up of the name brand, sooo.... It is THE EXACT SAME FOOD! They taste the same.

I agree with the person who posted first. I was buying a drink and noticed that the brand name drink looked exactly (in size and color) the as one labeled "Great Value." I compared the Nutrition Facts and found that they were the same. Saved myself $2.00.

Taste aside, you've obviously never been low on cash. Sorry if I sound a little pushy, I don't mean to be

If you haven't got that much money then that's understandable, but people who think they taste the same should get their taste buds checked.

Usually the quality of the products is the exact same. This is always the case with store brand cereal, which share the same ingredients.
One exception is store-brand soda. Coke and Pepsi both have secret formulas for their products that, as far as I know, no store-brand has ever effectively imitated.

Yes, generic sodas suck, along with copies of most cookies like Oreos. Other than that though, most of the time the stuff is just as good.

Wegmans ftw!!!

Eh. Unless it's like the lowest, crappiest store brand, it tastes about the same. There are some exceptions, but mostly it doesn't matter. Save some money.
