It doesn't mean we were physically made in His image. God doesn't have a body. God is spirit (see John 4). It just means things like the ability to procreate, the ability to reason, etc.

Nowhere in the bible does it say that other worlds with life on them weren't made. Just because it doesn't say they were created doesn't mean they weren't. Why would the bible tell us about other planets anyway? It has nothing to do with us.

If God did make other planets, it's reasonable to assume that they too have intelligent ilife. It is also reasonable to assume that he gave them their own Bible. So we meet them and they don't also have a Bible, it's game over.

It's not insecurities! If you believe that you are right then you would want others to see your way. For Christians, they believe that they are saving non-believers; atheists believe that they are saving Christians from their ignorance. Okay...first, where does it say anywhere in the Bible that other life doesn't exist? I've read through the other comments. First, yes, Christianity believes that human being were created in God's image. But....what does God look like? We don't know. God is genderless and formless. There's no reason for alien life not to be out there. Also, there isn't anything about alien life in the Bible because God himself didn't write the Bible. He used humans to do it. And we don't know about other life NOW, much less thousands of years ago. Now, I'm a Christian. I'm not insulting any one who doesn't share the same beliefs as I do, if you will notcie my post. So, please do me a favor and don't insult me just because you think I'm ignorant. Thanks.
