I went out once with a girlfriend of mine to her gay friends party, and when I was introduced they asked if she was my girlfriend, I said no, then they were like "Oh so are you gay?" and I was like no, she's just a friend, and then they started joking with themselves, calling me a breeder and stuff. I thought it was hilarious at first, then I stopped and thought "Hold on, this is what it feels like to be vilified for your sexual orientation" and it was the first time I could ever relate to that. It has a big effect on homophobes (I wasn't, and it still affected me), so get it out there. They'll start to feel what its like to be targeted for something like that.

You clearly don't understand homosexuality, then, if you think it's abnormal Homosexuality has been spotted in nature countless times. Haven't you heard of those gay penguins that are all over the news? If it's in nature, it's definitely natural AND normal. Homosexuality COULD be a mutation, but so are blue eyes. Human eyes are supposed to brown, so if this is the case, brown eyed people are normal and blue eyed people are just weird and there should be no such thing as blue eyed people. That just sounds absurd, doesn't it?

I think that there is definitely a difference between designed function and desire/attraction. Male anatomy was designed for insemination and female anatomy was designed for accepting insemination and carrying offspring, thus procreation without technological/medical advancements. It is just a benefit that it is also pleasureable (which helps with the insemination part). Now, I believe it IS normal and natural to have desires that don't adhere to designed function. Why do you think so many straight men are turned on by anal sex? Massive porn market.That isn't what the penis was designed for, but it is fun and can be hot! On a separate note, I find it interesting that people get offended by the term "breeder." It just goes to prove that both sexes are needed for procreation. Gay couples need female eggs and female couples need male sperm. And what about straight people who are unable to have children? What term do you use for them? Fight the good fight!!!

"designed function?" The "designed function" you are referencing is the result of chemical instructions that are carried out by cells during the course of a human's life. Designed is the wrong word, because it connotes purpose. Designed -for-. Yeah, leave the rhetoric out of it. One cannot say that a penis is meant to penetrate a vagina anymore than one could say that a person is meant to grab with their feet. Yes the function is there, and we can infer from all empirical evidence that there is an intention, is so far as that there is a use, and a reasonable too, but not a purpose. Purpose is not determined by chemical, nuclear, or electrical mechanisms but rather derived from oneself. You're sitting on a fence, here, because you say that natural processes determine man to heterosexuality but that it is completely natural to deny this natural process. So you've either been agreeing with me the whole time; you agree that anatomy allows us to express out sexuality, and that it does not determine it. If one were to look at the term "breeder," and then look at the figures for homeless and orphaned children, one'd see that they're apart of a statistic that ruins all children's lives.
