I hate Muse, but the Killers are pretty good for easy listening and stuff. Haven't found a song of theirs that I dislike, but I generally just listen to them when I need something to do- not when I need powerful music to change my mood or something like that. I'm also a big fan of The Strokes, I think you might like them =)

You're a big Muse fan? Can you give me some suggestions of their good stuff? I'd always love to change my mind about them, they do seem pretty good... even though they're only mega-popular (for the most part) because of the twi-hards. "Hate" was a pretty strong word to use there actually... I don't mind them nearly as much as Coldplay or the new Black Eyed Peas (Elephunk is where it's at, IMO. Not this E.N.D. techno crap). "Dislike" is more what I feel for Muse. More than just "not a fan" but not a "hate". So, suggestions?

Haha, well forget about Twilight and their influence on your view of Muse, if at all. I recommend listening to Origin of Symmetry (their second album). In my opinion, it's their best.

Ok, I will! They seem pretty for real... I got some suggestions of their "good" stuff from some very, erm, bandwagony people, I should say... and they were a little too girly and cheesy for my taste. Of course, that may just be the nature of the beast when getting suggestions from a 14 year old girl who only listened to them because that's how Stephenie Meyer got her inspiration for her books. You'd gotta think that her tastes in literature would carry over to her music tastes I guess... But, yeah, I'll check that out and get back to you. Let's see if it was just bad counseling or I'm really just not a Muser!

This was what my friend said to this guy. I personally love muse. You just don't take them totally serious, because they themselves don't take them serious. My fave songs by then are resistance, hysteria,map of the problematique. They are kinda heavy for most, but still...
