Why?! Another comparison post. Bleh! They both have different styles and in my opinion are equally good. But 1,000,000 X ? C'mon! I have to vote "No Way" just because they are equal.

Awww, here it goes! The similarites are so noticeable, the creators obviously weren't trying to come up with something different. Drake and Josh was Kenan and Kel's nerdy, white, significantly less awesome cousin. Twice removed. There'd be no D and J without K and K.

If you're going to analyze it that deep then all comedy duo's are similar too. You always have one smarter than the other to set up jokes.

Mhmm. I agree. In those duos you always have your dumb one and your smart one. The spazz and the one that's calm, cool and collected. But just looking at these two tv shows alone, it's pretty obvious (IMO) that they were trying to revamp the Kenan and Kel type of feel with Drake and Josh. Look at the opening sequences for example, the parents, the annoying, devious little sisters, the incomptent bosses. Yeah, it's common among this type of show but the characters are eerily similar. I'm surprised Josh didn't have an infactuation with some random beverage.

Networks do tend to stick with a style until people get bored. Josh did have an obsession with Oprah Winfrey though.
