My mom, uncle, and I went to this restaurant and the waiter kept coming every five minutes to top off my mom's lemonade. Which meant he took the glass back to the kitchen to fill it up. It was a nice gesture, but a little excessive.

They just want a decent tip man. They work hard, and they make, usually, $3 or less an hour because they're expected to earn tips. So tip your servers, dammit! I could never do that job. First person who stiffed me would get a swift kick in the ass on the way out. If you can't afford to tip, go to a freakin drive-thru.

some people never tip. My cousin married a guy from england he would never leave a tip- my brother in law gave him money for half the meal plus a good tip and the english cheapo kept it all for himself. Now nobody will go out to eat with them.

I have the opposite. They never come and give me water, even though I ask like 10 times, probably cause it's a reaaly busy restaurant :D
