Thanks for just stereotyping Americans. And who says the OP is American anyway? Don't assume.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Many many moons ago, the British used to ship their mental ward patients and prisioners to a land down under, now known as Australia. That accounts for the accent, AND the crazy. jk... Sort of. At least that;s what my old Algebra teacher said. But of course, who can trust crazy Algebra teachers?

The history is that a few hundred years ago, crime in England got out of control and the prisons in England got way too full, so they found a new country to send them to. Some of the prisoners escaped and built lives in Australia, but some English people decided to move to Australia.@551120 (Im_A_Dino):

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Except that they're not... Pretty much all Australians aren't rednecks.. At all. There might be a few, but I'm sure every country has a few.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

@Jesss, neither do Australians, or have you forgotten about the Aborigines? Pretty sure they got treated as badly as my people did.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Clearly the OP knows nothing about Australia

by Anonymous 13 years ago

In a good way.
