If the world is supposed to end at midnight on December 21st 2012, I wonder what timezone it will be midnight in, amirite?

It's going to start in the Australia/New Zealand area, and work it's way through each time zone. I swear Australia will get it first :]

Actually, it's supposed to happen at around 7-7:30 in the evening. And wouldn't one of the American time zones get it first, since the Mayans lived in the Americas? Even if it was going to happen. If anyone actually read anything, they would know that the myth only states that something monumental will happen and that's it's the beginning of a new era.

This event (earth and sun aligning with the center of the galaxy) happens at exactly 11:11 P.M. UTM. Coinciding with the winter solstice and also the beginning of the last cycle of the Mayan calender. So, if some sort of event happens anonymous^^^ has it right. Any Mayan significance to this only points to the beginning of a new era. If this alignment causes any change it will be global.

There is actually a specific island where you can see both that astronomical alignment, and the transitive Venus that happens not long before. If anything is going to happen that day, and there is some divinely chosen specific target, my guess is that island is Earths apocalyptic tramp stamp. The divine money shot to end all money shots will go right there.

it actually is 11:11 and there is a lot of evidence that a super massive black hole is the center of our galaxy (pretty much every galaxy) which is the gravitational pull that the stars revolve around. So yeah, if we got too close to that hole, some shit will go down lol

When I corrected myself I meant that 11:11 PM UTM would be AM not PM in the US. But yeah you are right, if the massive black hole at the center of the galaxy has any effect on us it may be disturbed.

I am not going to say the worl will end for sure, but you can not deny that something will happen its just silly. Esp. when its out of your control, the world may not end but something may happen that could eventually cause the demise of humans...Also, the hollywood version is BS, you are a blind sheep if you think thats what its all about.

i heard that the myth is not that the world will end, but that it will be the beginning of a new era. this sounds crazy but apparently a new form of humans will inherit the earth with supernatural abilities. idk f its true but thats what i heard. and no, im not suggesting that they will be superheroes.
