+439 If you had the ability to read people emotions and see if they were lying by their facial expression, you could rule the world. amirite?

Cal Lightman! Even though he's a fictional character...

Every time I watch Lie to Me, I convince myself that I can read people's faces. I can't.

The techniques they use on the show are actually real. Like when someone's eyes dilates they are lying, ect. :) but i dont think there is such a pro :s

Actually, Lightman as a character is based off a real researcher. Obviously then they dramatize it and everything, but it's still pretty cool.

I knew that the techniques were real, but I convince myself that I can read them and then fail miserably. I still love that show though.

"Truth Wizards" have this ability (like the guy in Lie To Me) naturally, and you can also be trained to have it.

I can sort of do that already...Now I really want to develop this talent!

I heard that if they glance to the right or left, they are lying.

Well, you can read up on body language, it really helps. Plus, it's really interesting.
