well... it depends HOW optimistic you are. if you broke half the bones in your body, have unoperable cancer, etc., everything might NOT get better, unfortunately. but getting paranoid and cynical about every little thing is just as naïve as the opposite. (props for using the accent btw)

That is true. I never said it was a black and white scenario, but it's frustrating when you're automatically judged for being so when you say that things will get better. People that have struggled a lot in their lives but are in an okay spot in the moment are perfectly entitled to be optimistic. (LOL, thanks, but you used it too! :))

I like this post because of the badass accent on naiive.. I probablly wouldn't have noticed it otherwise.

Haha. I couldn't figure out how to do it in the text box, so I opened Microsoft Word, typed it in, let it auto-correct, and then cut and pasted it. :D
