Note: I'm not trying to hate Twilight, I'm just pointing out how rediculous it was of her to say that considering how dry the first few chapters of Twilight were. Please no hate comments about Twilight :)

One of my very annoying friends says that she tried to read the first Harry Potter book and only made it through the first paragraph because it was "boring." WTF: 1. Just about every book starts off slow and boring; and 2. Harry Potter is not at all boring!!! It makes me genuinely angry. :)

maybe she doesnt like Harry Potter. like me. maybe she likes stories like Twilight more than stories like Harry Potter. why is that stupid? isnt everyone entitled to their opinion?

that's true, but she didn't even try. i remember having 2 tell her 2 push thru the beginning of twilight bcuz it was worth it in the end. btw she ended up not liking twilight anyway :/

sorry, maybe this explains what i mean: there are 2 books that she doesn't like. she reads one of them all the way through, but doesnt even give the other a chance. that doesnt really make sense to me...

i read the harry potter series in the fourth or fifth grade when it was newly released and i got through them really quick, just because a book is "popular" doesnt mean its a hard read like people lead others to believe. yes i also read twilight and liked it t; its an easy read for when you just to enjoy a story without too much effort.
