It's called soft drink!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I grew up in a place where it's called soda, but I like the way pop sounds a lot better.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm from texas, it's all called coke here, but i used to live in oklahoma and there we said pop.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

it is most defiantly pop

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Pop just sounds weird, because it's already a word that we use all the time for other things. Soft drink sounds too serious and professional. Coke is it's own brand so idk what the guy who said that was smoking. But soda is just right, and that is it's real name.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

SODA FTW. although i don't even drink that garbage. it's terrible for your health. but then again, we're American. If you can't beat the stereotype, might as well be the stereotype.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

by Anonymous 13 years ago

COKE IS A BRAND. If you buy a can of Dr. Pepper, you don't call it Coke. If you buy Coca-Cola, then, and ONLY THEN, can you call it Coke.

It is POP! Sodapop is okay. Soda is carbonated water, not stuff like Coke, Pepsi, etc. Basically anything but soda works since soda is something completely different.
