The "popular" kids talk about the most unintelligent and stupid things, amirite?
by Anonymous12 years ago
"unintelligent and stupid"
Redundant. =P

Haha, a little! I meant "unintelligent" as in topics that involve first-grade knowledge, and I meant "stupid" as in trivial, such as silly disputes over boyfriends, clothing, and the likes that no one cares about. Maybe I should have been more careful with my wording.
by Anonymous13 years ago
And nobody on here can really dispute it, cause, let's face it, we aren't the popular ones...
by Anonymous12 years ago
Well, there's a reason they're popular and you're not...
by Anonymous12 years ago
Haha nice.

The "unpopular" kids make generalizations aboot the "popular" kids.
by Anonymous12 years ago
That's because a vast majority of them fit these stereotypes. At least at my school.
by Anonymous12 years ago
Why do people make these generalizations? Just because they're "popular" doesn't automatically make them complete low-lifes who are stupid and never take things seriously/talk about "stupid and unintelligent things." And even if they do occasionally talk about stuff like that, who cares? They're allowed to talk abut stupid things and have fun occasionally too, are they not? Don't be so stereotypical.

I fully agree with you, we should not generalize, but SOME of the "popular" girls in my grade gossip about idiotic thing MOST of the time (I know this because I used to sit with them) and then proceed make fun my friends and I, stating that what we talk about is always geeky, nerdy, lame, etc.
Both groups generalize, it's the way of life.
by Anonymous12 years ago
I was going to get to the whole them generalizing the "nerds" too, but I didn't want my rant to get too far off topic. And sure, some of them do, just not //all// of them.
by Anonymous12 years ago
Just like how they generalize the people who are actually cool. Like me.
by Anonymous12 years ago
Maybe the stereotypical ones. I don't want to sound conceited, but I'm quite popular and my friends and I aren't anything like the "cool kids" on TV...
by Anonymous12 years ago
I don't know about where you're from, but we don't have popular kids at my school. Never did.
by Anonymous12 years ago
I just interpret the term "popular kid" as "that kid that bleeds swag," and, yes, their conversations are stupid and boring. Alright, football, gay people, and dubstep. Anyone wanna talk about existentialism?
by Anonymous12 years ago
You just sound sour about being unpopular.

I made this post a year and a half ago... God, I wish it would disappear. Please excuse my post-middle-school frustrations.

My sister is a senior right now, she is extremely popular and likable and everyone knows her. She has a 4.0 GPA, doesn't use the word like after every word, loves reading, wears glasses, isnt the most beautiful girl ever to exist, but all the guys like her; i'd say she's popular, and she doesn't talk about stupid things.
