Very true, some of us were too young to notice... but now we are... now we are.
by Anonymous13 years ago
fuck yes. our pope covers up child molestation in the church...from the priests that have taken a chastity vow!!
by Anonymous13 years ago
WOOOOOW, are you kidding me?
that's actually so discusting.
send the fucker to jail for life, at the least !

It happens soooo often and disturbing if u look into it. I mean if you r straight, priesthood wouldn't seem like the best route of life, but if the priest is gay, maybe it isn't the worst thing in the world, in fact enjoyable... YUCK!
.......rock on Buddah! He knows what he's talking about

most priests just SCREAM flamer too. haha

Oh, sooo true!

Just like everything else, it always has been. People are just trying to discriminate against Christians now-a-days, with issues like gay rights and abortions coming into debate, so the press gives the people what they want, a reason to hate the church. Where as say, 100 years ago the church was glorified, even though things such as slavery, and discrimination carried out by the church were an issue.
Sad really, people can't take things the way they are, they have to twist them to suit themselves.

Amenith to that sista.

It's hard not to be corrupt when you're built around a bunch of falsehoods and need to blindly ignore reason and cling to ancient traditions such as chastity in order to give yourself some feeling of being important when in reality you are just a relic of times past.

People, please don't disrespect. You don't have to agree with anyone's beliefs ( I definately don't believe in any form of christianity) but realize that corruption is found everywhere and to judge so many people based on the corrupt minority is narrowminded, baseless, and unfair.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I agree with ^^, corruption is found everywhere. And when you add that they aren't flowing with the times so well, people tend to get a little judge-mental. There are some very good people in the Catholic Chirch, never forget that.

I salute the both of you! It's nice to know that there are still people out there that don't generalize and base their opinions of ALL Catholics on horrible decisions made by the Church and extreme followers :)

What's so bad about Catholics? We are loving, peaceful people. Were not like the Muslims who kill people for being infidels. Sure, I may be against gay marriage, but at least I'm not supporting the death penalty in those Arab countries.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Honey you're trying to get people to be more accepting of you by putting others down? I know people killed by arabs doing their 'holy work' and I still wouldn't make a generalization the way you did. Use your fucking brain.

I'm only just realizing things that I didn't before. I didn't mean to offend anyone, I believe that good people can come from anywhere. Most Catholics I know are great. Also, bad people can come from anywhere. Just because someone is Catholic, it completely doesn't mean that they are bad people. I am Catholic and I am not trying to get people to be more accepting of me.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Of course. People all have to be more accepting of everyone. Disagreeing with spmeone's lifestyle choice doesn't give anyone a reason to judge. If people would spend a little more time finding reasons to love this world would be a wonderful place instead of the shithole it's become
