+298 whenever you read or think a question, your voice always get higher on the last word, amirite?

When I read this my voice didn't go amirITE? Otherwise I would have agred.

It's called an inflection.

My voice gets higher on the second to last word :D

In the English language (others too), that's SUPPOSED to happen when you ask a question. The inflection is meant to make a distinction between question and statement.
