wow really good one it really made me think about that i think yes because if i were the one to be killed for others i would understand. and if you dont do it your responsible for even more deaths.

I remember one story about a sniper in Vietnam who killed a Viet Cong general. That undoubtedly saved the lives of many many South Vietnamese and Americans. So, often, I think the one person who needs to be killed to save lives has little morals anyway.

Killing one innocent person to save more innocent people is morally acceptable because saving several innocent lives is a greater benefit for society than just saving one innocent person, since all people are technically supposed to be viewed as equal, I guess.

Only if there is NO other option.

Really depends on the person. I wouldn't kill my grandmother to save Hitler and friends.

That means you Batman.

Which is why abortion is acceptable

I agree, but only if the person you're killing is the one who would otherwise be killing the many others. I would kill Hitler to save 6 million Jews, because if he is planning on killing that many people then he deserves it. But if some crazy guy tells the US to kill Obama or he'll drop a nuclear bomb, then even though it's one vs many, it's hard to say. You can't really weigh human lives against each other. An innocent human life is priceless, meaning its value is infinity, and infinity times 1,000,000 is still infinity.

All life is precious. One should not be killed to save many. If one person is guilty, then he should be locked up for life, and denied the right to freedom and all but the most basic needs. If it is the case of killing an innocent person to save many, then of course that should never happen, there are always other options. And in the case of abortion, well it is the choice between current life and prospective life, it is up to one person and only one person to decide that.

TELL ME WOULD YOU KILL, TO SAVE A LIFE? TELL ME WOULD YOU KILL, TO PROVE YOU'RE RIGHT?

this kinda makes me think about organ donation you know? but you wouldnt kill one healthy person to save 12 other people who need his/her organs to live.

There are people in this world that we could do without, but the only way I think the death penalty is necessary is when they kill for "pleasure" and "fun" and they feel absolutely no regrets about it, because it makes them feel happy.
