Exactly. If you don't run up next to people and start shooting at them, chances are you won't get shot from really close. And in any other situation when you get shot like that, you can just shoot them back.

Yeah, I think sxe_phil (on youtube) talked about it? Paintball's definitely dangerous if you're not wearing at least some form of protection, but it's fun!

I'm probably going to get downvoted for this, but I don't consider paintball a sport. I think it's more of a hobby/pastime. Not exactly relevant.
