I wouldn't say she's stupid, even though I hate her books. She knew what appeals to young girls who are into trashy romance novels, and was able to profit from it. But that doesn't mean I think she's a good writer. She's a terrible writer.

I've realized that people just LOVE to bash others, especially when it's the popular thing to do. Saying that Justin Beiber and Stephenie Myers suck at their craft is being overly critical, and I'm not a fan of either of them. I just think that they're both decent. Justin Beiber CAN sing. Stepenie Myers CAN write. It doesn't mean that they are the best in their field--far from it maybe--but trust me, they are not the worst, and I've heard trashy music and read books that make me want to cringe.

Justin Bieber and Stephanie Meyer are successful because of all those stupid, naive, needy teenage girls out there who focus on nothing but getting a hot boyfriend that'll satisfy everything. There are a lot of them out there, some of them are probably screaming over little things right now...
