+114 Friends with benefits is totally ok, amirite?

Uhhhh, why the heck not?

Why not? It doesn't hurt anyone else, so who cares?

I don't know if I would be involved in a friends with benefits situation, but I don't see the problem. If both people make it clear to each other that there are no feelings, then I don't see the problem in getting off with someone you trust when you don't feel up for a relationship. And it's safer than doing it with a new person every week. The only problem is the possibility of things getting complicated/feelings developing later on. Which is why I'm not sure I'd be up for fwb.

Personally, I probably wouldn't mind it. If it's about other people, who gives a fuck. It's not my business.

someone always gets too attached... but whatever floats your boat

I feel like that's all you need when you're younger (18, maybe younger, to somewhere in the 20s?) because relationships are just too stressful & complicated when you don't even know who you are just yet

Except the younger you are, the less likely that you will be responsible enough to use protection, so things might get ugly.

Yea, both of those statements make sense but I also think it proves my point a little bit, too.

oh gotcha xp hah thanks then!

at first i thought you were talking about the movie, but i think it would be hard to enjoy the "benefits" of somebody without getting a small amount of romantic feelings

Perfectly fine. I've had a few relationships like that and it turned out fine. But you have to be really open to communicate what the boundaries are so you can avoid drama.

I've had relationships like that, and they're totally fun as long as you don't think of the person romantically. It's easier than people think to be physically attracted to someone and not develop feelings.
